The site has been un-moderated and a bit out of control within the comments for quite sometime now, which isn't really a good thing. So we decided to appoint some site mods to handle any bad situations that may occur, that way we, the admins, don't have to worry about little situations like that and can focus on our main roles to the site.
With that being said, it's not going to be "anything goes" in the comments section anymore. You're still free to chat, same as usual, as long as it's civilized. Insulting/Harassing other members, or flooding the comments (or other people's inboxes) can and will get you banned, especially as there's people now who's job is specifically to enforce that. There's already been bans today for it, so if you're unable to login (the page is just blank) then you should know why. In about a week, you'll be able to access the site again. Please don't evade your ban, if you're caught doing so, you'll be IP banned forever. So please, just wait it out. We've only appointed one so far, but one or two more are to come soon. They're just there to keep things from getting out of hand. No additional rules have been added other than the two obvious ones, which are pretty much the rules of every site.
Well, that's pretty much all I have to say about that issue, just wanted to make everybody aware of this. I'll have the staff page and contact page updated soon with a list of our new moderators, so contact them if you're having any problems with other members.
In other matters, all of the plans of change we mentioned in the past; our forums, online manga reader, as well as a new layout, are all still soon to come. There's just a bit of a delay with Chipp's coding progress vs. release dates. Which we apologise for. As soon as I hear anything about the progress or release date, I'll be sure to let you guys know.
Last, I'd like to bring up once again that we do have our own IRC chat channel (#Naruto-Kun), it's basically our chatroom and chill place. Anyone is welcome to join and chat, you can even play a Naruto trivia game in there & beat everyone else's top scores, I might be posting those scores on the news page from time to time. Frequent chatters that seem suitable have the chance to become forum moderators when they're released, as I'll be recruiting from there whoever I see fit. So if you want a chance, go there and get involved. Join by either clicking the "Enter Chat" link in our navigation, or connect using a client, which there's instructions for on our IRC chat page.
