Well first he used the cursed seal to disrupt his chakra flow and cancel Orochimaru's genjutsu grip on him. Then he proceeded to use his own genjutsu. After that he basically used Orochimaru's Absortion technique against him thanks to the sharingan's copying abilities maybe.
